Thanks to our high-quality materials, skilled tailoring and top-notch customer care, returns are a rare occurrence. We take pride in getting it right the first time, but if we ever slip up and send the wrong size or colour, don’t worry. We’re here to put it right.

Quick fix for a wrong order 

If you receive an order with the wrong size or colour due to human error on our part, just give us a shout. We’ll swiftly arrange to collect the package and send you the correct order.

If, for any reason, you prefer a refund instead of having your incorrect order replaced, that’s fine with us. We will issue a refund on receipt of the returned goods less the initial delivery charge of €6.

Cancellation: You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after purchase (apart from customised orders – see below).

Exchange: To exchange a garment for another size, please post the item(s) back to us (see instructions below), along with the completed returns form. 

Conditions for return

Some conditions need to be met before we can begin the return procedure:

All items must have been purchased on the www.medco.ie website or otherwise from Medco.

Returns will be accepted within 14 days of purchase, after which we may not be able to process your return or refund. [Maybe clarify this?]

Customised products cannot be returned; customisation includes embroidery, specific alterations, non-stock uniform colours and trims. [… but if there was an error in sending the incorrect size or colour??]

To return an item online, you need to have an account on the Medco website. This will ensure a seamless returns policy and a full record of all transactions.

To avail of a refund or exchange, all items must be in the same condition as they were in when received. We will not accept returns for items that have been worn, washed or otherwise damaged in your possession. 

Please note that Medco will deduct €6.00 carriage charge from refunds processed as the result of items being returned, in order to keep our prices competitive. 

Returns FAQ

Can I return a bespoke order?

If you have ordered non-stock items that have been specifically manufactured as you requested, we cannot offer you a return option. However, your items are fully warranted by Medco Ltd to protect you against defects or faulty workmanship. 

Can I avail of price adjustments for items that are now on sale?

If we have in stock the exact item that you purchased, you may be able to avail of price adjustments if the sale price occurs within 2 weeks of your purchase. 

I bought items in your factory store. Can I use your online returns area to return these items?

Sorry – items bought in our factory store must be returned to the point of purchase. 

Where is my order summary?

Your order summary is included in your parcel. You can also find your order summary in your Order Confirmation email.

When will I get my refund?

The refund will be issued to the original payment card or PayPal account, usually within 10 working days.

How do I find my returns label?

If you’re returning your order by post, you’ll need to generate a returns label online through the An Post returns portal, which enables fast and trackable returns. (See further instructions below.)

If you have chosen to have your parcel collected by An Post, they will have all the detail necessary and you do not have to print a label.  

How do I return an item(s)?

You can return an item or items by post or by calling to us directly.

If by post, you can drop off your return parcel at your nearest post office (find your nearest one here) or have your parcel collected by the An Post Returns service.

To return your order by post, please print and attach the return label as detailed below:

Fill in the return slip from your parcel summary document and include it inside your return parcel.

Access the An Post returns portal and select your return method. You will need your order number. 

Once you have entered your details, your label will be generated. You can print it yourself or present your QR code at the post office and they will print the label for you. Alternatively, if you have arranged for the postman to pick the parcel up from your address, you have nothing to do and you are not required to print a label.
